Pastor of Christ Church in Lebanon (1882-1885), Professor of homiletics, Lincoln University (1885-95)
Inaugurated at Wilson: May 28, 1895
Went on to serve as president of Pennsylvania College for Women (Chatham) from 1903-1906; served as chief executive/principal at Shippensburg from 1907-1913 (president’s house named in his honor)
Kittochtinny Historical Society founded in Martin home in 1898
Married Miss Ricker, first Wilson dean, in 1901 (??)
